The client's goals
120 Leman Street in Aldgate, London, is one of various open office areas for commercial lease. The client contacted us to install a polished concrete effect microcement to their floors, walls, reception desk and elevators in their newly renovated reception area.
The solution
There were floor height restrictions that we had to comply with, and for this reason we opted for a microcement application, as the product is only 3mm in depth. The microcement was installed onto an existing terrazzo subfloor and able to meet all existing height restrictions. A 50% charcoal colour was chosen and applied with medium texture, producing a cloudy appearance which created an industrial polished concrete finish that flows seamlessly throughout the reception space. We also applied the microcement effect to the existing reception desk.

The microcement effect completely transformed the look of the space with a stunning seamless finish throughout.
