The client's goals
Fargo Village is an artistically repurposed industrial space in Coventry City Centre, created for artisan, independent businesses. There are over 40 businesses currently located there, and with Coventry being named the UK City of Culture for 2021, Fargo Village is growing in popularity.
The solution
Fargo Village were renovating a worn and tired floor space in an existing café, to be converted into a new space incorporating a new café and barbers. The industrial space was the ideal setting for a polished concrete industrial look, which would benefit from easy cleaning for its café area. After some extensive substrate repair work, we applied a concrete grey, polished concrete overlay system.
The result
The overall effect captured the creative, commercial atmosphere, breathing new life into this space ready for its next chapter. Fargo Village is fast becoming the new place to go in Coventry for unique and artisan goods, and events are held there every month.
